I've finally had the time and means to make a video reverse engineering the material and texture creation for Snap's armor parts.
The only microphone I could find produced these annoying noises, so I apologize for that.

ReplyDeletei have a question about arch and design materials, are they only compatible with mental ray in 3Ds Max or is there a way of using them in Maya?

ReplyDeleteOlninyo - the A&D material exists in Maya as well. In Max Mental Ray and Final Render can both use this material. In Maya I think only Mental Ray can utilize it.
Olninyo - Yeah Dave is right, in Maya the Mia_Material is the A&D material for mental ray. It DOES only work with Mental Ray but it works great and has some really nice presets to get you started.
